The Tennessee PTAC provides free counseling on all matters related to government contracting to businesses in Tennessee. This includes things like how to search for bid opportunities, prepare capability statements, register as a vendor with agencies, and revise general marketing strategies. They offer training on how to do business with the government, and also offer advanced topics for experienced contractors. In addition, PTAC offers conferences for specific industries. They help business owners understand Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), which includes the rules used by all agencies.
